Cpl. Emilio Avalos, 20, from El Paso, Texas, an engineer with General Support Platoon, Company B, 1st Combat Engineer Battalion, Regimental Combat Team 5, marks where he must make precision cuts that will serve as braces for the wooden hut he and his fellow engineers are building near the city of Haditha, Iraq, Dec 15. This was the first time any of the engineers had built this particular type of hut, but thanks to their training and general knowledge of carpentry, they were able to finish the project two days ahead of schedule. ::r::::n::
