Staff Sgt. Anourack D. Phavorachith, career planner, 3rd Battalion, 11th Marine Regiment, received the Inchon Trophy for outstanding achievement in 2013 during the 1st Marine Division Annual Career Planning Awards Luncheon at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif., Jan. 27, 2014. Phavorachith, a 30-year-old native of Fresno, and 2001 graduate of Hoover High School, is assigned to an artillery battalion based in Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms. He is required to interview Marines in the battalion several times throughout their careers and assist them in reenlisting, transitioning successfully to a civilian career or pursuing higher education.
