Mann the Navy and Marine Medal for actions while serving at 3d Assault Amphibian Battalion in July of 2013. Mr.Mann put his own life at risk to save two fellow Marines during training in Camp Pendleton, California.

Marines with Task Force 1st Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, Regimental Combat Team 5, assisted numerous times with medical treatment and humanitarian aid while the battalion was located in Habbaniyah.
