Mann the Navy and Marine Medal for actions while serving at 3d Assault Amphibian Battalion in July of 2013. Mr.Mann put his own life at risk to save two fellow Marines during training in Camp Pendleton, California.

Phillips, a heavy equipment operator with Support Platoon, Company B, 1st Combat Engineer Battalion, Regimental Combat Team 5, fastens two pieces of a barrier Nov. 11 near Rutbah, Iraq. The Marines with the platoon are building a new traffic control point in support of the service members with Tango Battery, 2nd Battalion, 10th Marines Regiment, RCT-5. The TCP will more efficiently monitor Iraqis traveling through the area and will be manned by both Marines and Iraqi Police.

The Marines with the platoon are building a new traffic control point in support of the service members with Tango Battery, 2nd Battalion, 10th Marines Regiment, RCT-5. The TCP will more efficiently monitor Iraqis traveling through the area and will be manned by both Marines and Iraqi Police.
