Wind, the surgeon for 3rd Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment, Regimental Combat Team 5, bends over to receive a kiss good-bye from Basima Zalaan at Basimaâ??s home in Haditha, Iraq, June 12. Basima, 7, recently returned home from Jordan after heart surgery to correct a congenital defect. She is the third child in the area to receive the surgery, but the first to not go to the United States for the surgery.

Basima, 7, recently returned home from Jordan after heart surgery to correct a congenital defect.
