Mann the Navy and Marine Medal for actions while serving at 3d Assault Amphibian Battalion in July of 2013. Mr.Mann put his own life at risk to save two fellow Marines during training in Camp Pendleton, California.

The corpsmen and surgeons from units attached to Multi-National Force- West, Iraq, provided medical care all day for sicknesses ranging from high-blood pressure to tonsillitis until each resident was seen by a certified surgeon and cared for.
