Mann the Navy and Marine Medal for actions while serving at 3d Assault Amphibian Battalion in July of 2013. Mr.Mann put his own life at risk to save two fellow Marines during training in Camp Pendleton, California.

Civil Affairs Team 3, 2nd Battalion, 11th Marines, in direct support of Task Force 3rd Battalion, 6th Marines, Regimental Combat Team 1, is currently overseeing a project in the southwest region of Fallujah to build a secondary school for young women.
