Mann the Navy and Marine Medal for actions while serving at 3d Assault Amphibian Battalion in July of 2013. Mr.Mann put his own life at risk to save two fellow Marines during training in Camp Pendleton, California.

The Afghan soldiers leading and patrolling alone started a couple months ago after thorough mentorship and training by the Marines.
