An Afghan National Civil Order Policeman with 1st Tolai, 4th Kandak, 3rd Brigade, answers questions from a curious Afghan child during a patrol in Wishtan, with Lima Company, 3rd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, Feb. 22. The Marines with 1st Platoon, Lima Co., with an ANCOP, talked with several local Afghans during the patrol. Marines said to have seen a difference in interactions with the locals from when they were here last year. Afghan children regularly approach the Marines and interaction with the Afghan people is an essential part of daily patrols.
