Mann the Navy and Marine Medal for actions while serving at 3d Assault Amphibian Battalion in July of 2013. Mr.Mann put his own life at risk to save two fellow Marines during training in Camp Pendleton, California.

An Afghan National Civil Order Policeman with 1st Tolai, 4th Kandak, 3rd Brigade, posts security near the town of Wishtan, with the Marines of 2nd Squad, 1st Platoon, Lima Company, Feb. 22. The squad, part of 3rd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, patrolled parts of Wishtan and asked local people questions about the area. The Marines always patrol with atleast one ANCOP.

Sangin, Afghanistan - An Afghan National Civil Order Policeman with 1st Tolai, 4th Kandak, 3rd Brigade, posts security near the town of Wishtan, with the Marines of 2nd Squad, 1st Platoon, Lima Company, Feb. 22. The squad, part of 3rd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, patrolled parts of Wishtan and asked local people questions about the area. The Marines always patrol with atleast one ANCOP.
