Mann the Navy and Marine Medal for actions while serving at 3d Assault Amphibian Battalion in July of 2013. Mr.Mann put his own life at risk to save two fellow Marines during training in Camp Pendleton, California.

Sangin, Afghanistan - A 3rd Combat Engineer Battalion bulldozer flattens rubble to give the Afghan National Civil Order Police a better view of the surrounding area, Feb. 23. Marines with 3rd CEB demolished half of the patrol base here, and worked with the ANCOP to build new walls.
