Mann the Navy and Marine Medal for actions while serving at 3d Assault Amphibian Battalion in July of 2013. Mr.Mann put his own life at risk to save two fellow Marines during training in Camp Pendleton, California.

A 3rd Combat Engineer Battalion bulldozer levels the rubble from a recent patrol base reduction, giving the Afghan National Civil Order Police a better view of the area around them, Feb. 23. The battalion demolished or reduced more than a dozen patrol bases in recent months. The Marines with 3rd CEB worked with local Afghan National Security Forces to set the base according to their resources.

Sangin, Afghanistan - A 3rd Combat Engineer Battalion bulldozer levels the rubble from a recent patrol base reduction, giving the Afghan National Civil Order Police a better view of the area around them, Feb. 23. The battalion demolished or reduced more than a dozen patrol bases in recent months. The Marines with 3rd CEB worked with local Afghan National Security Forces to set the base according to their resources.
