Mann the Navy and Marine Medal for actions while serving at 3d Assault Amphibian Battalion in July of 2013. Mr.Mann put his own life at risk to save two fellow Marines during training in Camp Pendleton, California.

The ANA soldiers purchased goods from local stores and prepared all food on post. U.S. Marines recently transferred authority of the local patrol base, Hanjar Yak, to the ANA. Every night, the ANA soldiers invited Marines to dinner.
