Navy flight deck crewmen direct an AV-8B Harrier jet on the flight deck of the USS Bonhomme Richard, Sept. 30. The Marine Aircraft Group 13 pilots took the opportunity to qualify for their aircraft carrier qualifications during Exercise Dawn Blitz. By conducting these exercises, Marines remain prepared to deploy quickly on short notice to any place in the world for a wide range of contingencies, from humanitarian aid and disaster relief to combat.
