Mann the Navy and Marine Medal for actions while serving at 3d Assault Amphibian Battalion in July of 2013. Mr.Mann put his own life at risk to save two fellow Marines during training in Camp Pendleton, California.

ST. ARNAUD, New Zealand - U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Brendan Mulcahy, a rifleman with 1st Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, 1st Marine Division, patrols while extracting from an observation post during Exercise Southern Katipo 17 (SK17), at St. Arnaud, New Zealand, Oct. 28, 2017.
