Mann the Navy and Marine Medal for actions while serving at 3d Assault Amphibian Battalion in July of 2013. Mr.Mann put his own life at risk to save two fellow Marines during training in Camp Pendleton, California.

Camp Pendleton, California - Marines and Sailors both active and retired with 2nd Battalion, 4th Marines, 1st Marine Division stood at attention as the song Waltzing Matilda played during a 2/4 Association award ceremony aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, July 17, 2015. Waltzing Matilda was played to commemorate those who had served with 2/4 in World War II.
