Mann the Navy and Marine Medal for actions while serving at 3d Assault Amphibian Battalion in July of 2013. Mr.Mann put his own life at risk to save two fellow Marines during training in Camp Pendleton, California.

The company conducted a demolition training range where Marines learned about the capabilities of various explosives such as dynamite, TNT, shape charges and C4. The charges are used by engineers to destroy heavily armored vehicles, defensive obstacles and bridges.

The charges are used by engineers to destroy heavily armored vehicles, defensive obstacles and bridges.
