Motivated to pave his own path in life, Pfc. Clifford Dietrich decided to enlist in the Marine Corps once he graduated high school. The Marine Corps celebrated its 237th birthday, Nov. 10. As is tradition, Dietrich, the youngest Marine present during Regimental Combat Team 7’s ceremony, received the second piece of cake. For Dietrich, this was a first. Dietrich, a data helpdesk clerk with RCT-7, is from Ocala, Fla.
