A Light Armored Vehicle-Command & Control is prepared to go on a convoy during Exercise Desert Scimitar aboard Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms, Calif., May 14, 2014. The LAV-C2 has a raised roof to accommodate several radios. It is armed with a mounted M240E1/G machine gun, and carries 1,000 rounds of 7.62 mm ammunition. It is generally referred to as the "C-square" or "C-two".
