Marines, sailors and family members from 3rd Assault Amphibian Battalion participate in a dance contest during the battalion's Beach Bash here, Sept. 14, 2013. The annual Beach Bash was held to show appreciation to the Marines, sailors, family and friends of the battalion for their continued support. The venue provided fun activities to include a karaoke contest, team relay races and competitions, dunk tank and raffled prizes. Cpl. Janard Morrison (third from left), amphibious assault vehicle crewman, Alpha Company, 3rd AABn., won the dance competition. Morrison is a native of New Orleans.
