A mine clearing line charge (MCLIC) fired by U.S. Marine Corps M1 Assault Breacher Vehicles assigned to Mobile Assault Company, 2nd Combat Engineer Battalion, explodes near village stability platform (VSP) Shurakay, Helmand province, Afghanistan, Feb. 13, 2013. The MCLICs were employed to clear improvised explosive devices for combat logistics patrols supporting Operation Dynamic Partnership; a multi-unit collaboration to retrograde all U.S. military equipment and personnel from VSP Shurakay.
