Ralph E. Morten, a senior advisor for counter-insurgency with Lockheed Martin, exits a cell phone store located in a bazaar in Sangin, Sept. 1. Cell phones have been used by the Taliban to remotely detonate improvised explosive devices. By using the Cop on the Beat system to patrol through the bazaar, the Marines hope to deny the enemy access to the necessary components to construct IEDs. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl.
