Upon arrival at COP Rawah, Cumming took over the task of tracking personnel and cargo coming and going by helicopter. "He's been doing very well, and he's a very smart kid," said Capt. Travis Unser, a forward air controller with the battalion and Cumming's supervisor on the flight line. "We have received compliments from pilots on how smooth things run here."
