1st Lt. Daniel M. Thomas, team leader, and Gunnery Sgt. Gary M. Gonzales, assistant team leader, both with Detachment 1, Civil Affairs Team 5, 2nd Battalion, 11th Marine Regiment, Regimental Combat Team 5, inspect the outside of a building in Anah, Iraq, May 20, that is being refurbished as a hotel. The building was previously being used by Coalition forces as a combat outpost and joint community center. After the building was demilitarized, the CA team put together a project to do basic repairs on the structure before giving it back to the local government.
