An Iraqi member of 5th Provincial Security Forces punches a sandbag during a fitness course at Outpost Delta in Karmah, Iraq, Oct. 12. Marines with Company C, Task Force 1st Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, Regimental Combat Team 1, conducted training with local members of 5th PSF to further advance their capabilities as a growing military force. The PSF are effectively combating any remaining insurgent threat in Karmah by conducting raids, weapons caches, and detaining suspected insurgents. Karmah's influential location makes it an ideal area sought by insurgents, as it connects Baghdad to the al-Anbar Province. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl. Geoffrey T. Campbell/Released)
