Sgt. Samuel R. Lott, a 23-year-old motor transportation operator from Mojave Valley, Ariz., with Headquarters and Support Company, Regimental Combat Team 1, is promoted Oct. 1 at Camp Ramadi, Iraq. During Lott’s first deployment, he broke his ankle during physical training. During his current tour, while conducting training operations, he fell from a vehicle and broke his collarbone.
