Bailey toured with Maj. Gen. David H. Berger, assistant division commander. Camp Pendleton’s ranges have gone through significant modernization initiatives since 2005, including development of improvised explosive device training areas and live-fire ranges. First Marine Division’s leadership was able to become familiar with what Camp Pendleton offers to Marines training for combat.
