Marines with Company C, 1st Reconnaissance Battalion, prepare for a freefall jump by checking over each other's parachutes several times before boarding the aircraft aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif., June 25, 2014. The company practiced both freefall and static line jumps from a CH-46E helicopter to better prepare for potential combat operations anywhere they are needed worldwide.
