Marines with 1st Marine Division display the Inchon Trophy, which was awarded to Staff Sgt. Anourak D. Phavorachith, career planner, 3rd Battalion, 11th Marine Regiment, for outstanding achievements in 2013 during the 1st Marine Division Annual Career Planning Awards Luncheon at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif., Jan. 27, 2014. Pictured left to right: Sgt. Maj. Gregory D. Harding, battalion sergeant major, 3rd Bn., 11th Marines, Phavorachith, Maj. Gen. Larry D. Nicholson, 1st Marine Division commanding general, and Sgt. Phavorachith, a 30-year-old native of Fresno, and 2001 graduate of Hoover High School, is required to interview Marines in the battalion several times throughout their careers and assist them in reenlisting, transitioning successfully to a civilian career or pursuing higher education.
