Sergeant Jason Knuth, an intelligence analyst with Regimental Combat Team 7, compiles data gained from various sources within the RCT's area of operations to help the commander understand the battlefield. Knuth, a 28-year-old native of Toledo, Ohio, joined the Marine Corps because he wanted to travel and has now been to South Korea and Japan. Knuth, who said he enjoyed visiting the the war memorial in South Korea and castles in Japan, has served for 10 years and has also deployed twice to Iraq and twice to Afghanistan.
