Last Marine Infantry Regimental Headquarters Prepares to Leave Afghanistan

Due to the transfer of lead security responsibility to the Afghan National Security Forces, Regimental Combat Team 7 will leave Helmand province in August as the last Marine infantry regimental headquarters to deploy in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
