Vincent Coglianese (left), commanding general of Marine Corps Installations West, for Small Unit Volunteer of the Year on behalf of 3rd Assault Amphibian Bn., during a volunteer recognition ceremony at the Pacific Views Event Center at Camp Pendleton, Calif., April 19. The group of approximately 58 Marines contributed more than 812 hours of service in 2011. Volunteers helped raise thousands of dollars for cancer research during the Westminster 24-hour "Relay for Life" and provided service for Santa Margarita Elementary School.
