Sgt. Brian Mendez, sergeant-of-the-guard with Regimental Combat Team 5, demonstrates how to put an opponent in an arm bar to other jiu-jitsu students at the Camp Ripper, Iraq, martial arts training tent Nov. 17. Mendez started teaching the class in March this year with the goal of providing Marines with the opportunity to learn some new martial arts skills. ::r::::n::
