Malek Altameemy (front, right), 22, a native of al-Kut and member of the Desert Wolves, an Iraqi border-enforcement battalion, leads his team in a sign cutting and tracking exercise Oct. 14 to identify human footprints in the sand. The exercise, facilitated by Marines from the Border Transition Team at Trebil, was designed to enable the students to teach future class to their Iraqi peers, located at remote outposts strung out along Iraq's border with the Jordan. ::r::::n::
