Cmdr. Michael G. Swanson, regimental surgeon, Regimental Combat Team 5, plans a future cooperative medical engagement Oct. 2 from his office at the Regimental Aid Station on Camp Ripper, Iraq. In the ongoing effort to win the hearts and minds of Iraqis in western al-Anbar province, Regimental Combat Team 5 has been engaging the locals with one of their most effective non-kinetic weapons systems: Marine Corps medicine.::r::::n::
