Cpl. Joshua D. Scalfidi, 22, a designated marksman with Alpha Company, 2nd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, Regimental Combat Team 5, inspects an Iraqi truck for smuggled items during a patrol through western al-Anbar province, Iraq, Sept. 3. The western al-Anbar province has changed for the better says Marines of Alpha Co. have arrived in Iraq. The Marines with 2nd LAR Bn. have seen a decrease in smuggling and other insurgent activity during their deployment.::r::::n::
