An assistant at the veterinary clinic in Rutbah, Iraq, holds a sheep still as he waits for Dr. Rashad Ayish Mohammed, the local veterinarian, to administer a vaccine shot July 1. The shot was given to show a group of local farmers how to administer the medical supplies they had just received. The supplies were provided by Marines with Detachment 1, Civil Affairs Team 4, 2nd Battalion, 11th Marine Regiment, Regimental Combat Team 5 in an effort to help the local sheep who were affected by a recent drought.
