Cpl. James W. Blacker, 23, from San Diego, gives candy to Iraqi girls during a security patrol May 13. Blacker is a team leader with Company K, 3rd Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment, Regimental Combat Team 5. The company patrolled the city with an Iraqi policeman to show the locals that Marines are still active in keeping the city secure as the Iraqi police force continues making strides.
