Cpl. Nicholas L. Szczerba, 22, a rifleman with 3rd Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment, Regimental Combat Team 5, from Shingle Springs, Calif., drills two pieces of wood together while constructing a door at Combat Outpost Haditha, Iraq, April 25. Szczerba has become the a "go-to-guy" for Marines. He fills multiple billets for the battalion such as the assistant Camp Commandant, sergeant of the guard and police sergeant. Marines aboard COP Haditha know that if they want something done, Szczerba is the man with whom to talk.
