An Iraqi policeman patrols through Hit, Iraq, April 9 with a Marine following behind. Four policemen joined Marines from I Company, 3rd Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment, Regimental Combat Team 5 on a security patrol through the city. Despite the language barrier due to the Marines not having an interpreter, the patrol went smoothly. Marines used hand signals throughout the patrol, and the Iraqis were able to comprehend them.
