A MARINE with Company C, Task Force 1st Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, Regimental Combat Team 1, finishes loading equipment from Karmah Iraqi Police Station, December 19. Marines have been stationed at the police station since the beginning of the deployment, supporting Iraqi police and helping the progress operationaly. As the Iraqi Police mature in proficiency, Marines no longer need to be there and have left throughout the month of December. (Official U.S. Marine Corps Photo / Released)
