Members of Afghan National Interdiction Unit Team 10 throw captured narcotics into a burn pile during a raid on a suspected opium production facility here, March 7, 2012. The raid was part of Operation Psarlay Taba, a partnered counternarcotics operation conducted by the NIU and Marines with 2nd Battalion, 9th Marine Regiment, to disrupt narcotics trafficking around Helmand province's Marjah district. The partnered force captured around 26,000 pounds of assorted opium products over the course of the four-month operation.
