U.S. Marines with Charlie Battery, 1st Battalion, 11th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, fire an M777 towed 155 mm howitzer during a fire exercise (FIREX) on Marine Corps Air-Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms, California, Feb. 27, 2022. This regimental-level evolution provided an opportunity for multiple batteries to train together, developing small unit leadership while increasing efficiency and lethality.
