U.S. Marines with 1st Light Armored Reconnaissance (LAR) Battalion, 1st Marine Division, line the streets to give the Highlander salute during the arrival of the 1st LAR monument at Camp Pendleton, Calif., July 24, 2019. The 1st LAR Marines were nicknamed the “Highlanders” in honor of the famous Scottish Soldiers of the past.
