Sgt. Erik Lueres, a 29-year-old native of Albuquerque, N.M., assists Sgt. Maj. Timothy Rudd, the battalion sergeant major of 2nd Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment, Regimental Combat Team 7, with folding a flag here, June 16, 2013. The flying of this flag was not only a ceremony, but a gift from Rudd to his father. "It was the least I could to do to show my gratitude for all that he's done for me over the years," said Rudd, a native of Post, Texas.
