An Afghan National Army solider tells a local Afghan to put his arms out for a personnel search at a vehicle checkpoint here, May 21, 2013, during Operation Gridlock. Afghan soldiers partnered with Marines with 3rd Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment, to search vehicles and personnel in Now Zad district during the weeklong operation.
