Sergeant Major Molina was born on El Salvador. He enlisted in the Marine Corps on 13 September 1993 and attended recruit training at MCRD San Diego, CA. Upon completion, he received training at MCT, Camp Pendleton, CA. Following MCT, he reported to his MOS School at MCSSS Camp Johnson, NC. He was promoted to the rank of Private First Class in March 1994.
Sergeant Major Molina reported to 3d Battalion 7th Marines MCAGCC 29 Palms, CA. He served as a Motor Transport Mechanic and was later reassigned to 1st Battalion 7th Marines. He was promoted to the rank of Lance Corporal in November 1994. He deployed to Okinawa, Japan in February 1996. He was promoted to Corporal in December 1995 and later reassigned to 3d Battalion 7th Marines.
In October 1996, Sergeant Major Molina reported to 2nd Battalion 11th Marines, Camp Pendleton, CA where he served as Shop Chief. In May 1997 he deployed to Okinawa, Japan. He was promoted to Sergeant in November 1997.
In July 1999, Sergeant Major Molina reported to Recruiter School, MCRD San Diego, CA where upon completion he received orders to the 12th Recruiting District, RSLA, CA as a Canvassing Recruiter. He was promoted to Staff Sergeant in November 2001.
In October 2002, Sergeant Major Molina reported to MWCS-38, MCAS Miramar, CA where he served as a Motor Transport Maintenance Chief. While there he deployed three times in support of OIF I, II, III.
In January 2006, Sergeant Major Molina reported to Drill Instructor School, MCRD San Diego, CA where upon completion he received orders to the Third Recruit Training Battalion. He was promoted to the rank of Gunnery Sergeant in October 2006. He served in two companies as a Drill Instructor, Senior Drill Instructor and Chief Drill Instructor. He served his last year as an Instructor at Drill Instructor School.
In March 2009, Sergeant Major Molina reported to 2nd Battalion 11th Marines, Camp Pendleton, CA where he served as a Motor Transport Maintenance Chief. In April 2010 he was frocked to the rank of First Sergeant.
In April 2010, Sergeant Major Molina reported to Combat Logistics Battalion- 3, MCB Hawaii. He served as First Sergeant for Motor Transport Company for a deployment to Afghanistan in support of OEF 10.2. Upon returning he was reassigned to Support Company. In April 2014, Sergeant Major Molina received orders to Combat Logistics Company-35. During this period he simultaneously filled the billets of Company First Sergeant and Battalion Sergeant Major for CLB-3.
In November 2014, Sergeant Major Molina reported to Company A, First Recruit Training Battalion, MCRD Parris Island, SC. In April 2015, he was frocked to his current rank and assumed the duties as the Sergeant Major for First Recruit Training Battalion.
In July 2017, Sergeant Major Molina assumed his current duties as the Sergeant Major for 2nd Battalion 4th Marines, Camp Pendleton, CA.
Sergeant Major Molina’s personal decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal with gold star (2nd award), the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal with gold star (2nd award), the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, and the Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal. He also has a Bachelor of Science degree from American Military University.
