MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. – Sergeant Carlos Camachorojas, parachute rigger and delivery specialist, 1st Reconnaissance Battalion, performs burpees with his teammates during a combat conditioning exercise, “Animal Kingdom,” as part of the Martial Arts Instructor Course at Edson Range here, July 30, 2013. Camachorojas, a native of Mesa, Ariz., said the exercise was the most challenging physical training he received during the three-week course. Teammates completed exercises while an individual Marine crawled and jumped through a square circuit. All Marines had to rotate through the circuit multiple times before the session ended, meaning teammates relied on each other to complete the course quickly. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Sgt. Jacob H.
