Message from the FRO
On behalf of the Commanding Officer and our Marines and Sailors, welcome to the 1st Battalion, 5th Marines Family Readiness Program. The mission of the Family Readiness Program is to equip our Marines, Sailors and their families with the tools they need to meet the challenges of military life. As your Family Readiness Officer, I am here to provide official two-way command communication, information and referral services as well as readiness and deployment support. Often, during the tough times, the greatest comfort one can have is to know they have someone to turn to for assistance. During those times, count on your FRO to be there, ready to assist.
Do you want the most up-to-date announcements and event details? Unit information is available exclusively on our members-only 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment eMarine site. Registration is accomplished as follows:
1 -- Have your Service Member contact the FRO, and get added to access list.
2 -- Open your web browser and navigate to http://www.emarine.org
3 -- If you have already created a user account in eMarine, login with your User Name and Password
4 -- Click on the "Find a Unit Site" button in the top right portion of the screen
5 -- Click on the Sponsor Search button
6 -- Enter the Sponsor's First Name, Last Name and Date of Birth (MMDD) and click the Search button
7 -- Select your Unit's location.
8 -- Units for the selected location will be displayed. Locate your Unit in the list. (Use the search tools at the top of the page to narrow your search, if necessary.)
9 -- Select the appropriate option to register as a Sponsor or Family Member
10 -- Follow the steps to complete your registration
