Mann the Navy and Marine Medal for actions while serving at 3d Assault Amphibian Battalion in July of 2013. Mr.Mann put his own life at risk to save two fellow Marines during training in Camp Pendleton, California.

Marines from 2nd Squad, 1st Platoon, India Company, 3rd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, move through grazing areas during a security patrol here recently. During the past two years, Afghan National Army soldiers and Marines cleared the area of insurgents and developed positive relations with local villagers.
